Baptism:
Registration is required for all baptismal services. You can call, or visit the church office to make arrangements and register. A copy of the child's birth certificate is needed during registration. Baptismal classes for parents and godparents are held every third Sunday of the Month at the following times:
English- 10:30am
Español- 9:00am
Baptisms are held on the last weekend of the month once registration and classes are complete. Please contact the church office to make an appoinment.
First Communion/Reconciliation:
Children are required by Diocesan Guidelines to have completed a minimum of two consecutive years of religious education classes, or CCD, in order to be considered prepared for the Sacrament of First Communion. Special classes for students and parents who will be preparing for their First Communion are also required to further increase their knowledge of this sacrament. A copy of the child's baptismal certificate is needed if the child was not baptized at St. Joseph. Please contact Rosario Mendez for further information.
Confirmation:
Young adults are required by Diocesan Guidelines to have completed a minimum of two consecutive years of religious education classes, or CCD, in order to be considered prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Special classes for confirmation candidates and their parents preparing for Confirmation are also required to further increase their knowledge of the Sacrament. A copy of the child's baptismal certificate is needed if the child was not baptized at St. Joseph. Sponsers for confirmation candidates need to read and complete the Sponsor form by visiting the church office. Please contact Rosario Mendez for further information.
Marriage:
Registered Parish families must contact the priest at LEAST SIX MONTHS TO ONE YEAR IN ADVANCE of the desired wedding date to make arrangements.
Annointing of the Sick:
If you are seriously ill at home, about to enter the hospital, or if someone is close to death, please contact the office to speak with the priest concerning Annointing of the Sick.
